Quarantine Life with Toddlers: Old Navy Saves the Day and Rules My Wardrobe

These are the clothes that I'm obsessed with while working from home with kids

Working from home means wearing pajamas for a lot of people. But, what about working from home when you have two toddlers? Things are active. You could be in a zoom meeting one minute, but then outside letting the kids run off some energy, the next minute. You’re sitting in front of your laptop and then you’re hopping in the pool with your 5-year-old so that you can give him some one-on-one attention during his sister’s nap. Working Mom Life during a quarantine (and a deployment) is nonstop. So, I have to share the clothes from Old Navy that keep me going through my day and help me feel active but also comfortable.

Tops

I feel like I live in sports bras and bathing suits right now. So, these are the tops that work the best for me and some of the sports bras that I just have to have to keep myself feeling “put together!” HAHAHA!

<– I have this shirt from Old Navy in four different colors. It’s so soft, it’s stretchy and the tie back in the back lets my body breathe while I’m running around in the Florida heat or running around the house with the kids. I’m 5’5″ and about 128 lbs. and I wear a small in this top. It’s on sale a lot lately and it comes in a handful of colors and designs.

<– This sports bra is not only really comfortable, it’s really cute. I love the criss cross in the back and the material is thicker and provides a lot more support. I ordered a small in this one, but I think I could use a medium. I don’t have much going on up there lol, but, I am a little more broad, so it’s a little tight around my chest. I’m ordering the Medium today!

If you’re looking for a sports bra that’s a little thinner and has less support (this is great for the really hot days in Florida), this is the sports bra you need. It comes in a bunch of great colors. I ordered a small and the small fits perfect on me.

This lightweight tank is my go-to with the sports bra on the left. It’s great for the days I’m riding bikes with the kids or going for a walk with them. The material won’t stick to you and it breathes very nicely. It’s on sale right now for $10! Grab it before it’s gone!

Bottoms

Let’s be honest, I live in running shorts (even though I’m not running a 5K every day) because I’m practically running through the day and chasing 2 toddlers and a yellow lab. And on the cooler days when we don’t plan on going outside, I’m lounging in my active leggings. Something about yoga pants really makes you feel like your life is together lol.

Ahhhhhh, I love these and how comfortable they are. I’m wearing them as I write this. They include a built in brief and that makes it super easy for the days I’m jumping in and out of the pool with Camden. They dry really fast and they’re a must have in the Florida heat.

So, if you want a softer pair of shorts that you can stay busy in during the day but also use as a great pair of pj shorts, these are the jam! They’re so comfortable and soft and I can wear them out or lounge around the house in them. I’m seriously obsessed with these shorts and love the stretchy knit fabric!

I hope this was helpful! I love sharing the products that are helping me survive Working Mom Life During Quarantine (and a deployment).

I get a lot of the kids’ clothes from Old Navy and I will share those items with you soon. But until then, if you’re in need of face masks, OLD NAVY HAS FACE MASKS for adults and kids! Check them out below:
